What is the Comfort Zone?

The safe place or comfort zone is a mental state wherein people have a real sense of safety, security, and stability.

The comfort zone (certainty) satisfies one of the Six Human Needs.  The six human needs are Certainty, Variety, Significance, Connection, Growth and Contribution

When we experience safety, security, and stability, we’re in our usual range of familiarity, we know what’s in store and we know how to respond. We feel that we have some control over the circumstance)s).
