Drawing from the Heart

Drawing from the Heart is a series incorporating art exercises assisting participants with exploring, expressing, and transforming emotional pain and loss.  Drawing from the Heart’s goal is to create a peaceful resolution to reacting and resolving our pain.

During the series, we will identify what needs to be healed, identify the most predominant emotion associated with the pain resulting in loss, identify how to deal with the feelings of loss, identify the root of the loss, and releasing the pain of the loss from our hearts.

Drawing from the Heart does not replace individual counseling.

Group is often the treatment of choice for people who experience troubled relationships, loneliness, depression, anxiety, grief & loss, and low self-esteem.

People who participate in group benefit by sharing personal experiences, giving and receiving supportive and constructive feedback all while experimenting with new interpersonal behaviors.
