Individual Counseling

Individual psychotherapy or counseling/therapy is a process in which clients work one-on-one with a trained therapist—in a safe, caring, and confidential environment.  Individuals are encouraged to explore their “real” feelings, challenge faulty or outdated beliefs, as well as create healthy behaviors to ease the individuals struggles.  In therapy, you and the therapist work to ease life’s struggles by challenging beliefs while relieving you from external guilt and shame for other’s mistakes.

Group Counseling

Group counseling is a process through which a small group of people (generally six to ten) meet face-to-face with a trained therapist to talk about particular issues such as but not limited to esteem, relationships, grief/bereavement/loss, anger management, eating disorders, living with chronic depression or anxiety, recovering from childhood sexual abuse, or simply support.
