This is a room for girls growing into women and women who were once those girls.
Tutus & Teacups is an afternoon created for women and girls to dress up, slow down, sip tea, enjoy good food, take pictures, laugh, and spend time together.
No lesson.
No pressure to make the moment meaningful.
Just an opportunity to enjoy one another in a safe, welcoming space - and make a memory while you're at it.
Come for afternoon tea. Stay until you're ready to go.
What Kind of Afternoon Is This?
Tea & Treats
Enjoy an afternoon tea menu with a selection of hot and cold teas, good food, and something sweet.
Wear the Fun Thing
Tutus, tulle, fascinators, hats, gloves, bows, ruffles, sparkle, fancy shoes—and those wonderfully unnecessary things we rarely have anywhere to wear.
Make Some Memories
We'll have a photographer there to capture some of the afternoon - because if we're going to put on the tutu, we might as well document it.
Who Do You Bring?
Bring yourself - or someone you'd enjoy sharing the afternoon with.
Bring someone you care for. Someone you're fond of. Someone who needs to step outside her comfort zone. Someone who could use a new experience. Someone you've been meaning to spend more time with.
Bring a friend. A coworker. A neighbor. Someone you're still getting to know.
Come with three generations. Come with your girlfriends. Or come by yourself.

Girls ages 4 - 17 must attend with an adult female guest.
What Would Your Six-Year-Old Self Wear?
Yes, we're asking you to dress up.
Tutus and tulle are encouraged - but don't stop there.
Fascinators. Hats. Gloves. Bows. Ruffles. Sparkle. Fancy shoes. Big skirts. That accessory you bought because you loved it but have never had anywhere to wear.
For the grown-ups:
Think about your six-year-old self.
What would she wear if no one told her it was too much, too silly, too fancy, or asked her, "Where are you going dressed like that?"
Wear that.
For the girls:
Wear the thing.
The tutu. The fancy dress. The sparkly shoes. The gloves. The giant bow. The hat. The twirly skirt. Whatever makes you smile when you put it on.
So many times in life, we save the fun things for someday.
September 26 is someday.

Take a little piece of the afternoon home.

The teacup and saucer you enjoy during the afternoon aren't borrowed for the occasion.
They're yours. Take them home. Use them again.
Maybe even invite somebody over for tea.
A Space Centered on Women & Girls
This experience is intentionally centered on women and girls - a space to enjoy girlhood, womanhood, connection, play, and the simple pleasure of wearing the fun thing.
Some of us are still girls.
Some of us haven't been girls for a very long time.
But there is no age when you become too grown to enjoy a beautiful teacup, a little tulle, good food, laughter, and good company.
Nothing to fix.
Nothing to prove.
Nothing you have to become.
Just come enjoy the afternoon.

Tutus & Teacups is intentionally being kept small, with only 20 total tickets available.
Tickets are nonrefundable.
A minimum of 10 purchased tickets is required for the event to be held. If the minimum is not reached and Progressing through Therapy cancels the event, purchased tickets will be refunded.
Find the Fun Thing.
Don't talk yourself out of coming because you don't have a tutu. Don't decide you're too old. Don't decide you're going to look silly. Don't wait for somebody else to give you permission.
Bring yourself. Wear the fun thing. We'll have a seat—and a teacup—waiting for you.
