Our operating and appointment hours are Sunday through Tuesday, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

All counseling appointments are currently provided IN PERSON.

Important Insurance Information

We understand that navigating insurance can be frustrating, and we want to provide transparency before you invest time completing this form.

As a courtesy, Progressing through Therapy will make every effort to verify your benefits and obtain accurate information from your insurance carrier. However, verification of benefits is not a guarantee of payment. Coverage is determined by your insurance plan and is subject to all policy terms, limitations, and exclusions.

You are responsible for any fees not covered by your insurance plan.

At this time, Progressing through Therapy does not accept Medicaid or Medicare plans.

Please Note: Not all providers participate with every insurance carrier. Coverage for services provided by a graduate counseling intern may also vary by insurance plan. Progressing through Therapy will verify eligibility and benefits; however, verification of benefits is not a guarantee of payment.

Graduate Counseling Intern

Graduate counseling interns provide counseling services under ongoing clinical supervision while completing the experience required for their professional training.

Working with a graduate counseling intern offers affordable access to quality counseling with the added benefit of clinical supervision. Interns bring current training, fresh perspectives, and dedicated attention to their work with clients.

Morgan Wheeler — Graduate Counseling Intern

Rate: $35 per full session
Insurance: Some insurance plans may be accepted through supervisory billing, when permitted by the client's specific insurance plan. Coverage will be verified prior to scheduling.

Using Insurance for Counseling

Mental Health Diagnosis Required When Using Insurance

If you choose to use health insurance to pay for counseling services, a mental health diagnosis is required for insurance billing. Your therapist will complete a clinical assessment and assign an appropriate diagnosis based on the information obtained during the assessment. Progressing through Therapy cannot submit a claim to your insurance carrier without a diagnosis.

If you do not wish to receive a diagnosis or have diagnostic information submitted to your insurance carrier, you may choose the self-pay option instead. The self-pay rate with a licensed provider is $150 per 53-minute session.
