Who are you without the titles?

You Know Your Titles.

You know your responsibilities.

You know who calls when something needs to be fixed.

You know how to be the mother, daughter, wife, partner, caregiver, professional, friend, leader, problem solver, peacekeeper, strong one, dependable one - or whatever role life has required you to carry.

But if we took away all of those roles for a moment -

Who is left?

Not what do you do.
Not who needs you.
Not who are you responsible for.
Not what have you accomplished.

Who are you?

For some women, that question is surprisingly difficult to answer.

The Exploration

Defined. Undefined. Unwritten.

DEFINED.

By roles, relationships, experiences, expectations, responsibilities, and everything you have learned about who you are supposed to be.

UNDEFINED.

An opportunity to question which definitions actually belong to you - and which ones you have simply carried because they were expected.

UNWRITTEN.

Because every part of who you are does not have to be decided already. There may still be parts of yourself you have not had the opportunity to discover.

Undefined doesn't mean lost.

It can mean not yet decided.

A Different Kind of Self-Exploration

Maybe You Aren't Trying to Find Yourself Again.

Women are often encouraged to “get back to yourself,” “find yourself again,” or “become the woman you used to be.”

But what if there isn't a former version of yourself you're trying to recover?

Maybe responsibility came early.

Maybe you learned to take care of other people before you learned to pay attention to yourself.

Maybe being responsible, successful, helpful, strong, agreeable, dependable, or needed became part of how you learned to understand your value.

Maybe you've spent so much of your life becoming what was necessary that you've never had much opportunity to ask:

Who am I when I'm not being who everybody needs me to be?

You may not need to find your way back to yourself.

There may be parts of yourself you haven't had the opportunity to discover yet.

Welcome to the Series

Defined, Undefined, & Unwritten™

Defined, Undefined, & Unwritten™ is a clinically informed exploration series designed to help women examine the roles, experiences, expectations, and beliefs that have shaped how they understand who they are.

The series asks one central question:

What exists beyond the roles I have spent my life fulfilling?

This isn't about abandoning the roles that matter to you.

You can love being a mother and still wonder who you are outside of motherhood.

You can value your career and recognize that your profession isn't the entirety of your identity.

You can love your family and still examine how family expectations have shaped you.

You can be dependable without wanting to be responsible for everyone.

The goal isn't to strip away your roles.

It's to explore whether those roles have become the entire definition of you.

Workshop I

Who Have I Learned to Be?

Before we can explore who we want to be, it helps to understand how we learned to be who we are.

During this four-hour interactive workshop, we'll begin examining how roles, relationships, expectations, culture, responsibility, and life experiences influence identity.

This first workshop creates the foundation for the exploration that follows.

What roles do I occupy?
Which roles did I choose - and which did I inherit?
When did responsibility become part of my identity?
How much of the way I describe myself is actually a description of what I do for other people?
What have I learned about who I am from the people and environments around me?
Who have I learned to be?
What We'll Explore

This Isn't Four Hours of Sitting and Listening.

Through structured exercises and interactive experiences, we'll look at identity from several different perspectives.

Life Timeline

Begin looking at the experiences and transitions that have influenced how you understand yourself.

Role Timeline

Examine the roles you've carried throughout different stages of your life - and when those roles began becoming part of your identity.

Identity Wheel

Look beyond titles and responsibilities to explore the different dimensions that contribute to your sense of self.

Johari Window

Explore what you recognize about yourself, what others may see, what you choose to keep private, and what may still be waiting to be discovered.

We'll also use interactive technology, including opportunities for anonymous responses, to explore shared experiences within the room without requiring anyone to publicly disclose personal information.

Your Story Belongs to You

You Don't Have to Tell Strangers Your Business.

Let's make that clear.

This is not a workshop where you'll be expected to sit in a circle and tell your trauma story.

You decide what you share.

The workshop invites honest self-reflection, but participation does not require publicly disclosing painful experiences or explaining your personal history to the room.

Some activities will allow for anonymous participation so you can engage, reflect, recognize patterns, and learn from the collective experience without feeling pressured to reveal more than you choose.

You can participate without performing vulnerability.

Is This Room for You?

This Workshop May Be for You If…

You can easily tell someone what you do but struggle when asked who you are.
You've spent years being the person everyone depends on.
You've been called strong for so long that you're not sure anyone recognizes what maintaining that role requires.
You're a mother, daughter, partner, professional, caregiver, leader, friend - or all of the above—and you're curious about who exists alongside those identities.
You find yourself wondering, “What do I actually like?” “What do I want?” or “What would I choose if I weren't considering everyone else first?”
You've reached a point in life where simply fulfilling responsibilities isn't enough.

Or maybe nothing is particularly “wrong.”

You're simply ready to become more curious about you.

What It Isn't

Before You Attend

We'll Get to Know You First.

After registering, you'll receive a brief Getting to Know You questionnaire.

This isn't an application.

You don't need to write an essay, share your entire history, or prove that you “belong” in the room.

The questionnaire simply helps us understand who will be joining us and allows us to prepare an experience that is thoughtful and relevant to the women attending.

Defined. Undefined. Unwritten.

Who Have You Learned to Be?

Maybe you already know.

Maybe you're beginning to question it.

Maybe this is the first time you've considered the difference between who you are and who you've learned to be.

You don't need to have the answer before you walk through the door.

That's what we're coming together to explore.
