What Graduate School Didn’t Teach You is a monthly interactive series exploring the gap between academic preparation and real-world clinical practice.

Through case conceptualization, interactive discussions, and practical applications, we’ll examine theoretical approaches, cultural responsiveness, clinical judgment, diagnosis, insurance, ethics, predatory practices, and the business of mental health.

We’ll explore not only what clinicians do, but why they do it, whom it benefits, and when an approach may unintentionally cause harm.
